The company SIA Cido Pārtikas Grupa is founded. In the Ciemupe factory were Omas products produced.

Company SIA Cido was registered in Ciemupe. In the beginning company was producing syrup (years 1992.-2001.)
1996
Since 1996 company specializes in high quality, natural juice production known as CIDO juices. CIDO juices are packed in Tetra Pak packaging that protects products from light, oxygen and ensures their constant quality throughout the shelf life.Cido is the first company in Baltics that produces natural juices in packages with a cork.
1998
Investment in new production line is made for possibility to fill juices in the small 0,2L packs.
2002
New product line is introduced – Fruts – juice drinks from natural juice concentrates with vitamins.
2004
The company acquired Lāčplēsis beer brewery.
1993
SIA Ribergs takes over SIA Cido. Company continues with syrup and carbonated soft drink SunSet production.
1995
By obtaining water from the underground deposit “Mangaļi” at a depth of 213m, the production of natural mineral water MANGAĻI is being started.
1996
Fantastika carbonated soft drinks are well known by their great variety of refreshing tastes. Fantastika has concurred stable place in local market.
2002
Cido Ice teas have been great refreshment since 2002 with stable market position. Cido Ice tea has light and refreshing taste that allows to enjoy juicy and soft fruit taste.
2004
The company was acquired by The Danish Brewery Group, which produces variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
2005
Cido Grupa receives ISO 22000 quality standard.
2006
The company SIA Cido Grupa is founded. It is known by this company name to this day.

Mangali is loved brand among consumers, it has been recognized as the Product of the Year.
2008
New product line is introduced – Mangaļi Vita Fruit – water with fruit taste. Already within the first three months we sold the millionth bottle of the drink.
2014
Since 2014 company specializes in ale beer brewing by introducing new brand – Lielvārdes Alus.
2017
Beginning of sucessful collaboration with Rimi Riga Marathon. Since 2017 Mangaļi is supporter for biggest running even tin Baltic countries.
2021
Cido introduces new juice line – Cido Immunity. Cido Immunity juices are source of vitamin C that help maintain normal functions of immune system.

Additional investments are made to expand the production possibilities of 1,5L Tetra Pak production with screw cap.

Royal Unibrew acquires Līvu Alus beer brewery in Liepāja.
Lāčplēsis Alus brewery is transferred to Liepāja where company acquired Līvu Alus brewery.

Mangaļi brand is active supporter of various sports events. In 2013 beginning of collaboration with Ghetto Games.

Beginning of cooperation with Pepsico.
2019
In 2019 all participants of Riga Marathon receved limited edition bottles at marathon finish line.

Cido is first company in Europe to implement new environmentally friendly cap – tethered cap - for Tetra Pack packaging.
